In large embedded systems, it is common for the allocation of resources to a system's tasks to change over time. It is often required that such resource reallocation be completed quickly, which can be difficult due to the large number of states in which such systems may operate.  A solution to the rapid resource reallocation problem will be presented that is based on a very general and flexible definition of "system state."
