| Scott B. Dufaud is a Principal in Serena Software, Inc.’s Management Consulting Group. Scott retired from the U.S. Air Force as a Lt Col in Nov 2001 after 20 years of service. His entire military career was spent in the software arena. During his career he held senior leadership positions for the HQ USAF Software Process Improvement Program and also as the Deputy Director for the HQ USAF Year 2000 Program Management Office. Prior to joining Serena Software Inc., he was a Senior Member of the Technical Staff at the Software Engineering Institute of Carnegie Mellon University. Dufaud has over 15 years of experience working with the Capability Maturity Model (CMM) for Software and successfully implementing CMM-based process improvement in large organizations. He has published several articles in CrossTalk and other military journals, and has been a presenter at several previous Software Technology Conferences (STC). | |
