| Dr. Edward Byrne is employed by his own firm, Flatland Computer Specialties, Inc., and does training and consulting in the fields of software development practices and object-oriented programming. He is also a member of the Management Board of the IEEE Computer Society Software Engineering Standards Committee. Previously, for many years, he worked for Telephone Company Laboratories in software development of large, high-reliability systems. Byrne earned his BS and MS in Electrical Engineering from Notre Dame University and his PhD in Systems Science from Polytechnic Institute of New York. | |
