DESCRIPTION: Warner Robins Air Logistics Center’s Software Engineering Division is a team of highly skilled technical professionals that provides Department of Defense (DoD) customers and industry partners with a wide array of engineering services for software intensive systems. These services include: system acquisition and life-cycle support; software development, maintenance, and consulting; process definition and consulting; and independent verification and validation. The organization possesses one-of-a-kind system integration labs equipped with real-time simulators that support the development of high fidelity software systems. This capability minimizes user testing and provides tremendous time and dollar savings to our customers. These labs can be reconfigured to accept new systems vital to the mission, operation, and sustainment of weapon systems, airborne electronics, electronic warfare, space communications, and support equipment. The Software Engineering Division’s team of 600+ software system professionals is committed to process improvement. The team has achieved a Capability Maturity Model (CMM) for software rating of Level 3 and is one of DoD’s early adopters of the Software Engineering Institute’s Capability Maturity Model® Integration (CMMI). The Warner Robins team has provided software system development and support for over 30 years. Our resources and location give us a synergy afforded by few others.
