Utilization of Executable Architecture in Identification of Critical Threads

BACK TO LIST

Perhaps the greatest challenge to complex system design is the articulation of user requirements. Architecture views facilitate the presentation of requirements but do not of themselves offer a methodology to identify what to model or even what is “critical”. This presentation will provide an overview of: 1) the methodology used to develop a notional Joint Task Force (JTF) executable model, 2) actual model development, and 3) a demonstration of the model. This executable architecture can be tailored to support trade off and sensitivity analysis (doctrine and Tactics Techniques Procedures [business process], manning issues and system resources).
