Reducing Internet-Based Intrusions: Key Practices for Effective Security Patch Management

BACK TO LIST

Although patch management is recognized as a "must do" activity, there is surprisingly little written in the literature about how to structure an effective process. This presentation presents Software Productivity Consortium's results from pilot projects with member companies to apply the Plan/Do/Check/Act cycle to security patch management.
