Al Florence

Al Florence has been employed at major technology firms and is currently at The MITRE Corp. His work has involved all phases of the life-cycle in software, systems, test, configuration management, quality assurance on diversified projects: spacecraft, aircraft, missiles, weapon systems, particle accelerators, simulation, and information systems. He has developed processes for all Capability Maturity Model (CMM) Key Process Area in the Software Engineering Institute's (SEI) at all CMM levels through Level 5. Florence holds a BS from the University of New Mexico in Mathematics and Physics and has done graduate work in Computer Science at the University of California at Los Angeles and University of Southern California.
