Dr. Richard Bechtold

   Dr. Richard Bechtold is an Independent Consultant who assists industry, Department of defense (DoD), and civil government agencies with organization-level and project-level process improvement. Client organizations span all categories and sizes. Primary areas of support include software process improvement, acquisition process improvement, program and project management, and risk management.

   Bechtold’s numerous publications include books on software project management and process definition and modeling. Bechtold also teaches graduate-level management and engineering courses for George Mason University and is a regular presenter at various conferences, including Software Technoloty Conference (STC), Software Engineering Process Group (SEPG), and Production Masters, Inc.
