Dr. David A . Cook

Dr. David A. Cook is a Senior Research Scientist at AEgis Technologies Group, Inc., working as a Verification, Validation, and Accreditation agent in the Modeling and Simulations area, currently supporting the Airborne Laser (ABL) program. Cook has over 30 years experience in software development and management. He was an Associate Professor and Department Research Director at U.S. Air Force Academy and former Deputy Department Head of Software Professional Development Program at Air Force Institute of Technology (AFIT). He was a consultant for the Software Technology Support Center for six years.

Cook has a PhD in Computer Science from Texas A&M University, and is a Personal Software Process (PSP) instructor.
