| The Software Engineering Center (SEC), Intelligence Fusion Systems (IFS) Division is responsible for managing software supporting military intelligence, terrain, and weather systems deployed worldwide. This support includes an industrial base performing post-production software support at depot, and field software engineering personnel co-located with Army units. The ongoing Knowledge Management (KM) transformation has had a direct impact on improving the systems we support and helping the users of those systems keep us safe. We began the KM transformation in late 2001 in response to policy and guidance issued by Department of Defense (DoD) and Department of the Army (DA). Additionally, the presentation will include lessons learned and suggestions about transforming to a KM-based organization that would benefit other organizations currently in or beginning the transformation process. | |
