Accelerate Communications Development Using Real-Time Corba

Wednesday
Presentation

Real-time communications is hard. This presentation describes open standards and Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) software that can greatly simplify development and improve predictability and performance of distributed real-time systems.

ORBexpress RT and Real-time CORBA are used as the core communications architecture of many war fighter systems. This presentation will explain why these programs selected ORBexpress, a survey of their experiences and how ORBexpress solves their real-time and embedded development needs. This presentation will also discuss the following new ORBexpress products and capabilities, as well as announced future technologies from Objective Interface Systems:
   - Maximum bandwidth utilization (zero-copy)
   - ORBexpress RT for Java
   - Object Management Group (OMG) Data Distribution (DDS)
   - Multiple Independent Levels of Security (MILS) middleware
