Dr. Randall W. Jensen is a Consultant at the Software Technology
Support Center (STSC), Hill AFB, UT, with over 40 years of experience in
computer hardware and software development with 30 years focused on
software engineering methods, tools, schedule and cost estimation, and
software management methods and metrics. He retired as Chief Scientist
from Hughes Aircraft Co., responsible for software engineering methods
and management research. He received the International Society of
Parametric Analysts' (ISPA) Freiman Award for Outstanding Contributions
to Parametric Estimating in 1984 for development of the model that
underlies the Sage and Software Evaluation and Estimation of Resources -
Software Estimating Model (SEER-SEM) software estimating systems.
Jensen holds a BSEE, an MSEE, and a PhD from Utah State University. |
