Greg Gicca is the current Director of Safety and Security Product Marketing for AdaCore. He has more than 20 years of Ada experience that includes standardization work, product development, training, and marketing. He is an active member of Association for Computing Machinary, Special Interest Group for Ada (ACM SIGAda), having served as co-chair for the SIGAda 2006 conference and as exhibit chair for SIGAda. He is currently the project editor for the International Organization for Standardization (ISO)/International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) Joint Technical Committee 1 (JTC 1)/Standardization subcommittee for programming languages (SC 22)/Working Group 9 (WG9) Ada Semantic Interface Specification (ASIS) 2005 standard update. Prior to joining AdaCore, Mr. Gicca worked for: Green Hills Software, Aonix, Lockheed Sanders Ada Technology Group, and General Telephone Electronics (GTE) Government Systems on the World Wide Information and Communications System Information System (WIS) project.
