Dr. Ugur Cetintemel is currently an Assistant Professor at the Department of Computer Science at Brown University. His work focuses on the architecture and performance of advanced information systems and databases. Dr. Cetintemel has published numerous papers in leading databases and systems conferences, primarily in the areas of data stream processing, distributed data storage, and replication. He won the prestigious CAREER award from the National Science Foundation in 2004.
Dr. Cetintemel received his PhD in Computer Science from the University of Maryland, College Park.
