Cody Trotter of River Pointe Home Center says they are just starting to sell single and double mobile homes and they come from Sunshine Homes.

“The housing market is booming right now and we are just another way for people who have to wait six, eight or twelve months to quote houses to be built. We can offer the same type of construction in about 7 to 9 weeks.”
Currently they have about 8 mobile homes on the lot and most of them have up to five bedrooms.
He said more people are considering buying mobile homes because they have a mostly residential look and are quicker to get.
“We can build your house three to four times faster than you build a house on your property today. We’ve practically cut all that time in half.”
Homes on the lot start around $75,000.
Mississippi has the lowest “housing cost” of the 50 states.
Realestatetrackerhome.com lists the average price of homes built in Mississippi at around $167,000.
