Nicol & Co staff celebrate after making 25 moves to Droitwich in September.
The record figure comes after sales worth a total of £8.5million were made after the summer holidays.
Coralie Walrond, Sales Manager at Nicol & Co’s Droitwich office, said: “We had the busiest month ever for removals in September, beating our own record with a total of 26.
“One of the reasons for this was the fact that the property transfer process is often slower during the summer period due to the lawyers’ annual holidays.
“But when September came around and the law firm headcounts got back to normal, things started to happen in abundance with most of the sales we were pushing to come to an end.
“There were a few families who needed to be in their new homes before the school term started and others who wanted to be in and settled in well before Christmas.
“Our clients’ needs drove our persistence in coordinating channels and speaking regularly with attorneys to expedite the completion of transactions that resulted in such a busy month.”
Some of the properties that found new owners in September include a four-bedroom detached house on Ledwych Gardens in the heart of the town which sold for more than its £425,000 asking price, and a four-bedroom semi-detached property on Shirley Road, which sold above its asking price of £375,000.
There have also been big sales at two of the Droitwich developments with a four-bedroom detached house on Galton Way on the Hadzor development selling for over £525,000 and a four-bedroom property on Pakington Close on the outskirts from the development of Copcut Rise, selling for above its asking price of £480,000.
Ms Walrond added: “We pride ourselves on providing great service to all of our customers, and that often means continuing to chase down all parties involved in every sale or purchase to ensure people can make their important moves as intended. ”
